Business Party And Hospital

The party was in full swing, with businessmen and women from all over the city mingling and networking. Meera was making her way through the crowd, feeling out of place and more than a little uncomfortable. Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure across the room.

On the other hand, Ekaksh was talking to some of his business delegates when his site fell on Meera standing alone .Ekaksh couldn't help but feel a pang of surprise and nervousness at seeing her, yet he couldn't help but walk over to her."Meera?" he said, his voice loud enough to get her attention.

Meera turned around at the sound of her name, and her eyes widened in surprise when she saw Ekaksh. "Ekaksh? What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice a mix of surprise and confusion.

"the host is my father's close friend . So I had to attend this ," Ekaksh explained. "What about you?"Meera rolled her eyes. " Had to accompany my father," she said, glancing around at the crowd of businessmen around them. "I feel so out of place here. This is not my kind of event at all."

Ekaksh and Meera continued chatting, finding solace in each other' s company despite the boring party. As they were talking, Ekaksh's phone abruptly rang, breaking the conversation. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the calleand saw the name of the orphanage flash across the screen."It's the orphanage," Ekaksh said, his voice filled with worry.Meera could see the concern etched on his face. "Answer it," she said, her voice gentle.

Ekaksh answered the phone, putting it on the speaker so Meera could hear as well."Hello?" he said anxiously.

A woman's voice came through the phone, but it was hard to make out the words over the noise of the party. Ekaksh put a finger to his other ear, trying to block out the background noise."I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" he said

The woman on the phone repeated herself, her voice clearer this time but filled with concern. "We have bad news. The babies have been admitted to the hospital. They're very unwell."

Ekaksh felt his heart drop at the words. He could see Meera's eyes widen in concern."What's wrong with them?" he asked, his voice hoarse.

The woman on the phone explained that the babies were crying and suddenly fainted. They were currently in the hospital for observation and treatment.

Ekaksh listened in silence, his mind racing. The thought of the babies being sick and in pain was unbearable. After the woman hung up, Ekaksh stood there, feeling dazed and helpless.

Meera could see the look of despair on Ekaksh's face. She could practically hear the thoughts racing through his head. Without hesitating, she placed a hand on his arm, trying to offer some comfort.

Meera looked at Ekaksh, her eyes filled with anguish. " Can we please go to the hospital," she said, her voice strained. "I need to see the babies."

Ekaksh with a stoic face said " okay , but what about your father " " I'll tell him later " Meera said with a sudden feeling to be close to the babies. " Okay , pack your luggage I'll be waiting for you outside your hotel " " okay " Meera replied to an okay nodding still in emotional daze.

Ekaksh and Meera quickly made their way through the party towards the exit. They ignored the curious glances and whispers from the other guests, their minds solely focused on getting to the hospital as quickly as possible.

After gathering their things , They managed to hail a cab and hopped in, instructing the driver to take them to the airport as fast as possible. The drive was filled with a tense silence, both Meera and Ekaksh lost in their own thoughts.

After landing they again hire a cab to take them to the hospital. The ride to the hospital was filled with an unknown silence of heavy emotions.

Once they arrived at the hospital, Ekaksh and Meera rushed straight to the pediatric ward. They were taken to a private room where the babies were being treated. The sight of the babies looking small and vulnerable with tubes and wires attached to them made tears well up in meera's eyes.

Meera tried to keep her composure but her heart broke to see the babies in such a state. Ekaksh immediately went to the babies' bedside, tears streaming down his face as he gently held their tiny hands.

After meeting the babies , Meera and Ekaksh heart churn at the side of their tiny souls fighting for their life . The side was like a heavy stone is placed on their heart. The innocent babies who were not any fault is juggling between the hassle of life .

Ekaksh and Meera went to the women of the orphanage who took the babies to the hospital.

Ekaksh asked her " why they were crying sister " the sister replied with a concerned voice " they were crying for both of you. They used to cry before but would calm down by the caretaker but as you didn't come to the orphanage the previous day . When they didn't see you both and they started crying we did everything to stop them crying or console them but nothing happened and suddenly they faint "

They both went to the doctors cabin to discuss the health of the babies. Ekaksh's mind was racing. He couldn't believe that the babies, who had been doing so well, were now in the hospital and sick.

"How bad is it?" Ekaksh asked, fear and worry etched on his face. The woman who was operating them reassured him that the hospital staff were doing everything they could to help the babies, but that they would need to stay in the hospital for at least a few days.

The doctors explained to Ekaksh and Meera that the babies were severely weakened because they hadn't been breastfed. The doctors explained that breast milk contained essential antibodies and nutrients that were critical for the babies' health and survival. Without it, the babies' chances of recovering were slim, also the sister told us that they were crying very much And fainted. They seem very attached to both of you so , stay close to them or else these things can be life threatening.

After thinking with every cell in his body , Ekaksh decided to adopt the babies but when he put his decision infront of the sister .

the sister explained that the adoption process involved various legal formalities and he was not eligible to adopt the babies due to his unmarried status.

He turned to Meera, desperation evident in his eyes.

Meera could see the anguish in Ekaksh's eyes, and her heart ached for him. She knew that he loved the babies dearly and wanted to help them. But the legalities were a hindrance that they couldn't ignore.

They sat in silence for a while, both lost in their thoughts. Meera was racking her brain, trying to think of a solution. Finally, she spoke up, "Have you considered getting married?"

Ekaksh's head snapped up at Meera's suggestion. He hadn't considered getting married before, but the idea suddenly seemed like a possible solution.

He looked at Meera, his eyes filled with hope. "But who would marry me?" he asked, his voice quiet.

"You're not that bad of a catch, you know," she said, trying to lighten the mood. "There must be someone who'd be interested in marrying you and can take care of the babies ".

Ekaksh chuckled weakly at Meera's words, feeling a small flicker of hope. "I'm not sure any sane woman would willingly sign up to be the wife of a workaholic and a mother just for him to adopt babies. Most importantly I just get married to anyone it's a matter of babies'well-being. Meera nodded understanding ther circumstances.

After deeply thinking and putting every possible thing Meera said " let's get married " .

Ekaksh's eyes widened in surprise at Meera's suggestion, and he stared at her in disbelief.

"You're joking, right?" he asked, not quite believing what he was hearing.

Meera shook her head, her expression serious. "No, I'm not. If getting married is the only way to give these babies a healthy and loving home, then we should consider it."

Ekaksh shocked his head and said " please don't pressurise yourself may be we can find another solution " .

Meera again said with teary eyes " How can you say that after witnessing this heart wrenching situation ".

Ekaksh was speechless, his mind racing. The idea of marrying Meera was completely unexpected, but he couldn't deny that it made sense. The babies needed a stable home, and this could be the solution.

Ekaksh nodded. "If we decide to go through with this, we should keep it lowkey. We don't want to cause any trouble or confusion. And we can just get a divorce after a year, so that you don't have any problem in future. I can handle them after that when the babies are healthy and settled."

Meera nodded in agreement. "Let's not make a big fuss about it. We'll keep it simple and low-key. It's just a legal arrangement to help the babies."

Ekaksh thought for a moment. "That's a good point. We'll have to be careful around our families. We don't want to raise any suspicion."

Meera nodded, her brow furrowing in thought. " We can make a schedule like in the daytime I can take care of them you can go to the office and at night you can take care of them and I can go back to my home, so my or your family won't get suspicious of us " she suggested.

Ekaksh nodded. "That could work. But what about your law farm if you will take care of them in daytime " " I can just do work from home ".

After discussing everything they told sister to proceed the adoption process and they will submit their marriage certificate.

Both of them went to the doctors cabin when Meera asked the doctor voice desperate.

The doctor nodded, "We have breastfeeding support services in the hospital. We can arrange for a donor mother to provide breastmilk for the babies but since you're adopting then then you can also breastfeed them ". Meera awkwardly looked here and there and said " but how can I produce breast milk".

The doctor explained that in order to produce breast milk for the babies, Meera would need to take certain medications and hormone supplements. The process would take a few weeks, but it would ensure that she was producing enough milk to feed the babies.

Meera listened intently, feeling a mixture of nervousness and awkwardness. She looked over at the babies, still lying weak and fragile in the hospital cribs. She knew she would do whatever it took to help them. Then she looked over at Ekaksh and so him sitting awkwardly and asked the doctor about the side effects .

The doctor gave a look to Ekaksh , Ekaksh began to feel a little uncomfortable and realized that it might be better for him to give Meera some privacy.

"I'll give you guys some space," he said, and stood up from the chair and awkwardly scooting towards the door.

The doctor explained to Meera that the medication would cause hormonal changes in her body, and as a result, her breast size would increase slightly.

Meera felt a little awkward hearing this, but she tried to remain calm and professional.

"How much of an increase can I expect?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The doctor consulted her notes before responding. "It's difficult to give an exact estimate because everyone's body reacts differently. On average, you can expect a half to one cup increase in size."

Meera tried to keep her expression neutral, but she couldn't help feeling a little self-conscious. After enquiring about everything they both leave the cabin .

Ekaksh hesitated briefly before asking the question that had been on his mind. "Meera, are you sure you're okay with this? I mean, the medication and the... changes that come with it?"

Meera looked at him, her expression a mix of determination and a hint of nerves. "I'm sure, Ekaksh. I know it's not ideal, but it's necessary for the babies."

Ekaksh nodded, still feeling a bit awkward about the whole subject. "I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about it," he said softly.

Meera managed a small smile. "I'll be fine, Ekaksh. It's just a side effect of the me

dication. It's not forever. And I'm doing it for the babies."

After everything the both went to their home .
